Privacy

What this site collects, and why.

The short version: very little. Whiteboard FC has no accounts, no comments, no ads and no cookies of its own. Here is everything, in plain terms.

Visits

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics (opens in a new tab). According to Cloudflare, it uses no cookies or local storage to count visits and does not fingerprint visitors. Web Analytics shows us only aggregate figures, such as page views and the sites that sent visitors here, and we don’t keep logs of individual visits.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, your email address is collected and stored by beehiiv, the platform that sends The Whiteboard, under beehiiv’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We use it only to send the newsletter, and we never sell it or use it for advertising. Every email has an unsubscribe link, so you can opt out at any time.

Like most newsletter platforms, beehiiv records whether each email is opened and which links in it are clicked, and shows those statistics to us.

The signup form loads in a frame from beehiiv’s own site: this site runs no beehiiv code and never sees what you type into the form.

Email

If you write to editorial@thewhiteboardfc.com, your message and address are used only to reply to you. Writing to us does not add you to any list.

Other sites

Links to X, Telegram and Instagram take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.
